Sonar: Reduce cyclomatic complexity
Reduce the number of conditional operators for equals(). Improve
testEquals() to better cover this method.
This patch also:
* immediately returns expression instead of assigning it to the
temporary variable "str",
* adds the "@Override" annotation above equals() method signature.
